Media converter FiberTechnic by FCM-110-A20 is a device designed to convert the optical signal to the 1000BASE-FX electrical signal 1000Base-TX and vice versa.  Media converter operates in WDM, where you only need one optical fiber to set up a connection in both directions at two optical wavelengths 1310/1550. Designed in compliance with IEEE802.3u 10/100/1000Base-TX and 1000Base-FX standards.

The device is intended for single-mode fiber optic cable using a SC duplex connector. Specifications of the laser at full speed 1000MB: operates on a single fiber, on the waves and TX/RX1550nm and TX/RX1310nm of optical power for a distance up to 20km with simplex SC connector.
