The FB-DST-2I-16O-2 fiber optic splice closure features two main cable entry ports and sixteen subscriber cable exit ports. The main cable entries are fitted with pass-through gland seals, allowing the primary cable to be routed through the closure without being cut. The subscriber cable exits are protected using rubber sealing plugs to maintain environmental protection.

The enclosure is constructed with a durable, robust housing, and the cover is secured by two external locking clamps that provide reliable sealing and protection against moisture and dust ingress.

Inside the closure, a hinged splice tray provides organized fiber management. The lower section of the tray includes dedicated space for fiber splice protectors, while additional storage beneath the tray allows excess fiber slack to be neatly stored. The closure also includes a removable adapter mounting frame, enabling the installation of fiber optic adapters and allowing easy access when required.
